What to expect when you become a patient.
Our first job is to figure out whether what we do is a fit for what you need. Here's how that conversation works.

Four steps. No surprises in between.
- 01
Tell us what's going on
Reach out by phone or contact form. Our team will get back to you to schedule a first conversation. There's no commitment at this stage.
- 02
Initial consultation
An unhurried visit with Dr. Larson to understand your symptoms, history, and goals. We use this visit to figure out whether what we do is a good fit for what you're experiencing.
- 03
Diagnostic workup
If you move forward, we collect the data. 3D imaging, joint analysis, digital scans, and any other diagnostics that fit your case.
- 04
Treatment plan + estimate
A clear written plan, a realistic timeline, and an upfront cost estimate. You decide whether and how to proceed.
Straightforward about what care costs.
Our practice is primarily fee-for-service. That keeps decisions between you and Dr. Larson. Not you, Dr. Larson, and an insurance company. After the diagnostic workup you'll get a written estimate before any treatment begins.
For patients who want to spread the cost, we partner with Cherry. A patient-financing option with same-day approval and a soft credit check to see if you qualify.
What we don't do.
- Bill medical or dental insurance directly. You can submit for reimbursement where applicable.
- Push you toward treatment you don't need. The diagnostic visit may end with us recommending a different specialist.
- Start treatment without your written agreement on the plan and the estimate.
Common questions from new patients
No referral is required. Many of our patients come on their own; others are referred by dentists, physicians, sleep doctors, or physical therapists. Either way works.
Plan for 60 to 90 minutes. Dr. Larson takes the time to understand your full history. We don't run a fast-throughput clinic.
Our practice is primarily fee-for-service. We don't bill insurance directly. We can help you understand what your medical insurance may cover (some services may qualify) and provide documentation so you can submit for reimbursement when appropriate.
We partner with Cherry, which offers patient financing that lets you spread the cost over time. Many patients use Cherry to make care more manageable. Application is quick and doesn't affect your credit to check eligibility.
Any imaging or sleep-study reports you already have, a list of medications, and notes on what you've tried so far. If there's nothing prior, that's fine. We'll start from scratch.
Yes. Many patients bring a spouse or family member, especially when sleep-related symptoms are the reason for the visit. Their observations are often useful.
